Do you want to help with the Antigonish Farmers’ Market fundraising efforts but aren’t sure how? No problem! We’re always looking for people help get the message out that it’s time for us to grow!
Below are three simple ways in which you can help the Market achieve its goal of a new, year round building.
The strength of many fundraising campaigns is often judged by their social media presence. In this day of people becoming increasingly selective in what media they consume, platforms that allow organizations such as the Antigonish Farmers’ Market to reach out to folks they would not otherwise be in contact with are all the more important. We would welcome your support in sharing the story and motivation behind our fundraising efforts online.
On a desktop or laptop, have a look at the left side of your screen – you should see icons for many major social networks including Facebook. Simply click on the network of your choice and your off!
On a mobile device you should see a bar at the bottom of this screen labeled “Share This”. Simply click on the icon beside the label and you can select the network of your choice.
Word of Mouth
One of the simplest (and most effective) ways to help out is chatting with your friends, co-workers, and relatives about the Market and it’s fundraising efforts. The people you run into on a daily basis will generally be a cross-section of the community – spread across Eastern Mainland Antigonish and from all walk of life. So get the word out and ask them to visit our website to learn more!
